1. palHQ.com, what is it?

palHQ.com is an online social portal for professional that facilitates communication with your friends, collegue, recruiters and other potential friends through an interactive dynamic network of photos, blogs, personal web pages, etc... palHQ.com enhances your interactive experiences with your network and other palHQ members by providing search features not found in other social community sites. Once such feature is the fact that we have incorporated the social community concept along with a search features that focuses first on what you do in life, your profeesional career and not just your age and where you are from.

2. How do I change the colors, graphics, & sound to my personal Profile page?

We provide you our own design editor to modify your profile page. Once you log into palHQ.com simply click on “Edit Your Website” and you will be able to customize your profile page as you see fit. If you wish to upload your own background photo or image as well as customize all aspects of the look and feel of your pages without knowing any web programming language or HTML, then this is the place to do it. As the site grows we will be adding our own set of templates that you can personalize and edit with your look and feel. If you’re confident coding in HTML, then you will be able to add your own color, graphics, sound, etc. to your personal profile and webpage. You can enter HTML code on almost every text box in our site.

3. How do I change my default picture?

From your palHQ.com admin console page click “Edit Your Photos”. Browse for and Upload your photo of choice. You can add a caption to your picture if you would like. Once completed you will have set your default picture in place.

4. I can’t upload my image and I’m getting an error... what’s going on?

A few issues may be occurring...

First, the size of the image may be over 800kb. The palHQ.com database will not accept it. Your image file must be under 800kb.

Second, at the moment palHQ.com accepts only two image formats, .gif and .jpg. The filename for your photo also has to be simple and short.

Third, palHQ.com cannot accept uploaded images with names that contain spaces or special characters. \"Image.jpg\" is acceptable, but \"~ The Real SlimShady!.jpg\" simply will not work!

5. Is palHQ.com free?

Yes! Every service offered by palHQ.com is free. All of the current services offered by palHQ will remain free and we will do everything possible to keep it that way.

 6. What are the entry points about? (coming Soon)

Points are a way to measure your contributions to the content of palHQ and they are used to reward you. AreaWon.com members accumulate entry points for simply contributing content. Whether it’s filling out our registration page, your personal profile, posting a picture of yours, blogging, replying to a post, or inviting your friends, either way, you will accumulate entry points. All of those accumulated entry points will serve for you to be included, automatically, throughout the year, into contests, and sweepstakes offered by Areawon.com.

7. What Rewards is palHQ.com giving away? (Coming soon)

Our initial plan is to give away prizes such as IPOD nano every month from beginning in September of 2006. In the near future we plan to have more frequent and more valuable giveawaysfrom our sponsors each month as our user community grows.

8. How many photos can I upload?

Currently palhq.com limits our members to uploading a maximum of 10 photos (800kb each). We are looking to expand that to 100 photos. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements.

9. The system will not let me create an account?

Send us an e-mail at info@idesignresource.com. Tell us the problem that you are having and we will clear it up immediately.

10. Why can\'t I log in to my account?

When you registered with us your email was automatically used as your username. Your password was the one you set when you signed up. Perhaps you changed your password by going to Account Settings on Your palHQ home page. If you cant remember your password click on ‘Forgot My Password’ for instructions to reset your password. If you cant remember your username click on ‘Forgot My User Name’ and then follow the instructions.

11. Once I’m logged in, how do I change my email address or my password?

From your palHQ Admin page go to “Edit Your Account” and change the “e-mail” name you login with. If you want to change your password you have to …….(Create the method on the system)

12. I’m at the front page and I forgot my password?

If you cant remember your password click on ‘Forgot My Password’ for instructions to reset your password.

13. I’m at the front page and I forgot my username?

If you cant remember your username click on ‘Forgot My User Name’.

14. How do I change my personal profile information?

From your palHQ home page go to “Edit Your Profile” and edit any personal information that you wish.

15. How do I delete my www.palHQ.com account?

Once you’re logged in and you are at your palHQ home page click on “Edit Your Account”. Then click on “Delete Account”. We urge you to be careful with this feature because once you delete your account there is no way to retrieve your information that you had previously posted on your account. Once again, be very careful with this feature.

16. Can I add another palHQ user as my palHQ buddy?

You may invite a member by simply viewing the user’s profile and clicking on “Add To My palHQ Friends”. Keep in mind that you can invite any palHQ member to become your buddy, but that member can choose to accept or reject that invitation. Also, your email will be revealed to the member that you are inviting.

17. How can I delete my palHQ friends from my palHQ buddy list?

When you’re at your palHQ home admin page click on “View Network of Pictures”. Once there you will be able to click on “Delete” under any picture of a friend that is in your direct network.
